When we came back to Khao Lak for a second season, we decided to look around for somewhere nicer. If we went just 5 minutes away from Khao Lak, we could find bigger houses for cheaper. And that we did. We ended up getting a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath place with roommates. It was large and magnificent and had a nice yard. It was $440 a month, but that was split 4-ways so it worked out nice. It had a covered parking area which we promptly turned in to a "chill-out area".
